Rock dusters are devices used for eliminating danger of coal dust explosive condition in allmining facilities mining bituminous coal.
Their task is based on mechanical dusting of mining pits by means of plain stone in order to bereave it of explosive properties.
The rock dusters are innovative – dusting of mining pits by means of plain stone takes place in an automated way, apart from the manual power used before.
Mechanical dusting became a very accurate, fast, economic and – what is most important – efficient way of eliminating coal dust explosive condition. Moreover, technical solutions, regarding dusters powering by various mining devices and with the use of different supply media, have caused that they are mobile appliances able to work in practically every spot of mining facility.
The dusters application allows to:
- Effective elimination of coal dust explosive condition by means of more accurate headings dusting (compared to manual dusting)
