SMYK dusters are modern, mobile devices designed to headings mechanical dusting by means of plain stone.
The SMYK dusters are produced in three different versions, depending on the supply medium:
- SMYK, SMHY type – duster with hydraulic drive
- SMYK, SMPN type – duster with pneumatic drive
- SMYK, SMEL type – duster with electric drive
The main structural components of this duster are: hopper, pneumatic turbine, auger and motor (depending on the machine type: hydraulic, pneumatic or electric). After filling the hopper with plain stone, it is carried along the auger to a special mixing chamber, where a uniform air and dust mixture is formed. The mixture escapes outside by means of a special hose, through which an operator dusts a heading. Thanks to this uniform mixture, during the very moment of getting out of a hose it gains properties resembling the liquid ones. Due to these properties the dust covers sidewalls and roof and is evenly distributed on the whole dusted surface.
The SMYK dusters possess all necessary admissions to be used in mining (I M2).

- Supply: from hydraulics on the bottom of a mine (by means of a hydraulic fluid), from pressure bar or self-propelled combustion floor railways or suspended monorails, or other hydraulic devices

- Dusting range: 60m (maximum: 60m of dusting hose)
- Dusting efficiency: 22kg/min (for 20m hose)
- Hopper capacity: 50l (0,05m3)
- Possibility of direct supply from MT SCHARF, BECKER-WARKOP, PIOMA, FERRIT

- A standard duster possesses handles to suspend and transport by means of suspended monorails
- Dusting hose: 20m sections of 50mm diameter, total hose length: 60m; sectors linked with the use of quick-fit connectors.
SMYK duster, SMEL type (electric drive):
- Supply tension: 500V or 1000V AC motorElectric motor: three-phase induction explosion-proof motor
- Dusting range: 60m (maximum: 60m of dusting hose)
- Dusting efficiency: 22kg/min (for 20m hose)
- Hopper capacity: 50l (0,05m3)
- Installation: on skids (standard), on wheels, suspended or other (on client’s special request)
- A standard duster possesses handles to suspend and transport by means of suspended monorails

SMYK duster, SMPN type (pneumatic drive):
- Supply: from compressed air supply systems at the bottom of a mine delivered by compressors on the surface or stationary underground compressor and mobile compressor units
- Supplying air pressure: 2,8 – 6 bar
- Dusting range: 60m (maximum: 60m of dusting hose)Dusting efficiency: 22kg/min (for 20m hose)
- Hopper capacity: 50l (0,05m3)
